SMOKED TURKEY LO MEIN

Ingredients

  • 1 can 15oz POLAR FOUR SEASONS Stir Fry Straw Mushrooms, drained

  • 1 can 15oz POLAR Stir Fry Vegetables, drained

  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

  • 1 lb fully cooked smoked turkey breast – cut into ½ inch cubes

  • 1 cup frozen peas

  • 1 package (about 7 oz) stir fry noodles

  • ¼ cup POLAR Soy Sauce

  • ¾ cup water

  • 1 tbsp POLAR Oyster Sauce

  • 2 green onions, chopped

  • Optional garnish: Sesame seeds

Directions

  1. Heat wok or 12 inch skillet, add vegetable oil, medium high (It is not advisable to use olive oil because the taste doesn’t recall genuine Asian flavors). Add turkey and brown for about 1 minute.
     

  2. Add stir fry mushrooms, stir fry vegetables and frozen peas to wok & mix.  Then add soy sauce, water, and oyster sauce, stir until well mixed and heated through about 3-4 minutes
     

  3. Cook noodles according to package directions.  Drain & rinse under cold water.  Add noodles to wok and stir fry for about 2-3 minutes.   
     

  4. Sprinkle with green onions and serve.
