SMOKED AND SPICY SARDINE TAPAS

Ingredients

  • Polar Brisling Sardines

  • Polar Sliced Jalapenos

  • 1 small cucumber, sliced

  • Cream cheese for spread

  • 1 apple, such as Macintosh, Gala, peeled, cored, cut into ¼ -inch dices (optional)

  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley

  • 1 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice

  • fresh ground pepper to taste

  • sprinkle of dill

  • crackers to serve

Directions

  1. On a work surface, prepare an assembly line of ingredients. Spread cream cheese on cracker and top with a cucumber slice, a jalapeno slice, and a sardine.
     

  2. Garnish with fresh parsley, freshly squeezed lemon juice, fresh ground pepper, and sprinkle of dill
     

  3. Serve promptly
