SIMPLE CHERRY PIE
 

  • Prep Time: 5-10 minutes

  • Bake Time: 40-45 minutes (depending on how you want your crust)

  • Yield: 6-8 servings
     

 

Ingredients

  • 1 box Pillsbury refrigerated pie crusts

  • 1 jar (27.35oz) Polar Cherry Pie Filling

  • 1 tsp milk

  • 1 tsp sugar

Directions

 

  1. Heat oven to 425°F. Insure crusts are at room temperature (Two-Crust Pie using 9-inch glass Plate/Pan)
     

  2. Spoon pie filling into crust-lined plate/pan. Top with second crust; seal and smooth. Brush top crust with milk; sprinkle with sugar. Cut slits on top crust.
     

  3. Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until crust is golden brown. After 15 to 20 minutes of baking, cover crust edge with foil strips to cause less browning/burned edges. Cool at least 45 minutes to an hour before serving.
