OYSTER SOUP

Ingredients

  • 2 cans of Polar 8 oz. Whole Boiled Oysters

  • 5 tablespoons butter

  • 1 tablespoon flour

  • 1 can 14.5 oz. evaporated milk

  • 2 cups milk

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

  • Dashes of hot sauce

Directions

  1. Melt butter in a sauce pan over medium heat, add flour to mix well.
     

  2. Put the balance of ingredients (including oyster liquid) in the sauce pan increase heat to medium high, stir well and bring almost to boiling point. 
     

  3. Serve with oyster crackers
