MUSHROOM FRIED RICE

Ingredients

  • 1 can POLAR 4oz Mushrooms Slices

  • 2 can  POLAR 4oz Shiitake Sliced Mushrooms

  • 1 jar POLAR 7.5oz Nameko Mushrooms

  • 3 tbsp cooking oil

  • 4 green onions, chopped, separate the white part

  • 4-6 garlic, minced

  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced

  • ¼ tsp dried red pepper flakes

  • 4 cups long grain cooked rice, refrigerated preferred

  • ¼ cup POLAR soy sauce

  • 1 tsp POLAR sesame oil

  • ½ cup frozen peas

  • ½ tsp salt and a dash of black pepper

Directions

  1. In a large nonstick frying pan or wok, heat 1 tbsp cooking oil over medium high heat.
     

  2. Add white stem part of the chopped green onions, minced garlic and ginger to frying pan, stir until fragrant, about 1 minute.
     

  3. Add all mushrooms to step 2.  Stir to just mix, season with ¼ tsp salt.  Pour mushrooms to a bowl and set aside.
     

  4. Add the remaining 2 tbsp cooking oil to frying pan, add red pepper flakes, cold cooked rice, soy sauce and remaining salt and pepper to pan, stirring frequently until rice is heated through.
     

  5. Add mushrooms back into rice, mix in defrost peas and remaining chopped green onions, stir  well to make the rice fluffy.  
     

  6. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in sesame oil.
