MACKEREL FILLET WITH ORANGE SAUCE

Ingredients

  • 2 cans Polar 10 oz. Mackerel, drained

  • 1 jar Polar 10 oz. Mandarin Oranges, drained

  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch

  • 1 teaspoon orange zest

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • ¾ cup orange juice

  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce

  • 2 teaspoons honey

  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

Directions

  1. Warm orange juice over medium heat in a small saucepan.
     

  2. Mix cornstarch, lemon juice, orange zest, soy sauce, honey together; add to orange juice, stirring constantly until sauce thickens.
     

  3. Place drained Mackerel on a plate, drizzle with sesame oil on top, warm in microwave.
     

  4. Top warmed Mackerel with orange sauce and serve.  Garnish with mandarin orange segments.
