BOOZY BERRY PUREE

  • Chill Time: 2 hours

  • Yield: 1 cup of puree
     

 

Ingredients

  • 1 (10oz) Jar of POLAR Whole strawberries

  • 1/2 cup(or more) Cabernet Sauvignon

  • 1 tbsp sugar

Directions

 

  1. Drain strawberry juice from jar while keeping the fruit in the jar.
     

  2. Add sugar and ½ cup (or more) of wine to jar. Stir around to mix contents.
     

  3. Place in refrigerator to chill at least 2 hours or overnight.
     

  4. Blend in food processor or blender until puree forms
     

  5. Store puree in airtight container for up to a week

     

Suggested Uses

Add the puree to your favorite chocolate cupcake recipe for a boozy treat!
(Suggestion: 1/2 cup of puree for recipe that yields 1 dozen cupcakes)
